Information Summary
Toyota Fortuner is a brand of SUV from famous car manufacturer Toyota and has been marketed since 2005 in Indonesia. This car was originally assembled in Thailand and imported directly by the TAM.
This car is based on the Toyota Hilux platform or named Toyota Vigo in Thailand, this platform also used by Toyota Innova and Toyota Hi-Lux pickup. In early 2007, Toyota Fortuner already assembled in the form of CKD in Indonesia.
Toyota Fortuner is offered in a variety of variations as follows: G M/T, G A/T, G Lux A/T and V A/T. The lowest and cheapest variations begins with the G M/T 2500cc engine manual transmission D-4D 4×2. Followed by GA / T 2700cc engine coded 2TR-FE 2.7l VVT-i 4×2 automatic transmission.
Next G Lux A/T has the same spec with the G A/T with the difference in the leather seats and 6 in-dash CD changer. Varian top and luxury is V A/T which has all the devices G Lux and the only with 4×4 models. Exterior colors are offered consists of Super White, Silver Metallic, Grayish Brown Metallic, Dark Gray Mica, Black Mica, and Blue Metallic.
